Team Travel by Stephane
What is kept online, and what I don't look at.
Your journey is kept online, all of it, so you can pick it up on any device. Here is what is kept, what I see of it, what I undertake not to read, and how to erase everything.

Who is responsible
This journey is mine: Stéphane Compain, a private individual, working independently as an MWR Life Lifestyle Ambassador (Travel Advantage). There is no company and no team behind this page: I decide what is collected, and I am the one you write to.
Contact: [email protected]
What is kept online
- your email address, used to send you your sign-in link;
- your identity: your full name, your email, your phone number if you gave one, and your sponsor's name;
- your progress: which steps are done, and a few counters;
- and everything you write in the journey: your quiz answers, the text of your why, your targets and figures, your invitation messages and your contact list.
In other words, all of it. Nothing stays on your device alone any more, and that is deliberate: it is what lets your journey follow you when you change phones, and stops it vanishing the day your browser does its housekeeping.
What I do not read
It all sits on the same server, and I am not going to tell you otherwise: there is no encrypted vault stopping me from opening what you write.
What there is, is simpler. The screen I have shows progress only: steps done or not done, and a few counters. It displays the content of nothing. I have no page and no button to read your answers, your why, your targets or your list, and I undertake not to go looking for them by some other route.
That is an undertaking on my part and an absence of tooling, not a technical impossibility. I would rather tell you how it is than promise you a lock that does not exist.
The people on your list
There is one point I want to be straight about, because it does not only concern you. When you put someone on your contact list, you are recording information about a person who asked for none of this. They do not know me, they have no idea their name sits on a server, and they gave nobody their agreement. You are the one who decides to put them there, and that decision is entirely yours.
Three markers, to keep it clean:
- put down only what helps you get back to them: a first name, a way to reach them, where you stand with them. No note you would not stand behind if they read it over your shoulder;
- if they say no, or ask you to take them off, take them off. You can delete an entry at any time, and it leaves the database with everything else;
- if they want to know what you wrote about them, it is for you to answer. That information is yours, and you are the person they need to be able to reach.
On my side, I do not read these entries and I do nothing with them: I contact no one on your list, I do not pool them, and there is no shared team list. They serve you and no one else.
How you sign in
You give your email address, you receive a link, you click it, you are in. No password to create, none to remember. What you get out of it is simple: start on your phone, carry on from your computer, and find your whole journey where you left it.
That link is delivered by an email provider, which sees your address for as long as it takes to deliver the message.
Why I keep all this
Two reasons, not one more. First, so your journey follows you from one device to another, in full, instead of starting from nothing the day you change phones. Second, so I know who needs a hand, and get in touch at the right moment rather than for nothing.
For that second reason, your progress is enough for me. I do not need the content, and I do not ask for it.
What I actually see
I see who you are and where you stand: your name, your contact details, your sponsor's name, the steps you have finished, and a few counters, for example how many questions you have answered. Not what you answered.
If you want to show me something, you send it to me yourself: the journey lets you download your notebook and pass it on if you decide to. Nothing travels to me behind your back.
Where your data sits
With Cloudflare, the host of this site. The database holding your account and your journey is hosted in the European Union: the jurisdiction was chosen explicitly when it was created, not left to chance.
For how long
Until you ask for deletion. And if you do not sign in for two years, your account and everything in it are deleted without you having to ask: it happens automatically, on the server.
How to erase everything
Two ways, your choice. Inside the journey, a button deletes your account. Or write to me at [email protected] and I will do it.
Deletion is immediate, final, and it takes everything with it: your account, your progress, your answers, your why, your targets, your invitations and your contact list. There is no bin, no copy kept aside, and I cannot undo it. Download your notebook first if you want to keep it.
Your rights
At any time you can ask me for access to what I hold about you, correction of anything wrong, erasure of the lot, or object to my keeping anything at all. An email is enough, and I need no explanation.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the data protection authority of your country. In Luxembourg, that is the CNPD (Commission nationale pour la protection des données, the national data protection commission).
What is not here
- no advertising tracker, no audience measurement, no tracking cookie;
- no selling, no renting, no exchange of your data;
- no sharing with MWR Life, nor with any other ambassador on the team.
What you do in this journey stays between you and me.
